Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Monday, December 29th, 2008

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and was able to make the most of the time spent with loved ones over the their day(s) off.

My decorations are almost completely taken down and put into boxes.  As I put material things away, I reflect on how we need to not box up the spirit of the season at the same time.  We should not only keep the attitude of loving, forgiveness, and giving in our heart to keep us warm, but we should keep it out in the open and let it radiate its warmth to everyone we encounter.

Everyone, please keep safe as you make plans and celebrate the New Year.  For those of you that make New Year’s resolutions, take heart.  I heard on the radio yesterday that 45% of people who make New Year’s resolutions are able to keep them.  The keys are to make realistic goals with measurable results and have a buddy system in place to help keep on track.  Good Luck.
